Cause:
- Detergent residue.
- Exposure to saline, blood, potassium chloride and other compounds.
- Detergent containing high PH.
- Metals of dissimilar composition.
Solution:
- Rinse with fresh running water as soon as possible after exposure.
- Avoid detergents with chloride base.
- Avoid detergents high PH.
- Separate metals in cleaning operation where ultrasonic process used.
