Cause– water droplet condensation
- mineral content in water
- sodium, calcium, magnesium
Solution: Follow the autoclave manufacturer’s instructions
- The door should not be opened until all the steam has been exhausted.
- A leaky gasket or valve may cause water droplets to condense as a result of improper drying at the end of the autoclave cycle.
- Prepare all solutions for cleaning, disinfecting, rinsing and sterilization with distilled or de-mineralized water, free of chloride, with a pH value near 7.0.
