Steam supply is a critical component for proper sterilization. This learning session will discuss products and solutions to ensure the proper quality, quantity and purity of the steam. Also discussed will be innovative products used to reduce the energy consumption and carbon emissions in the steam supply to MDR.

Meet the speaker:

Marc Ducharme, P.Eng , is a Steam Subject Matter Expert – Western Canada. He has 18 years of experience improving the efficiency of steam systems in hospitals and Industrial processing plants. Marc’s major focus has been on assisting companies in achieving energy efficiency improvements, saving operating costs, reducing greenhouse gases and improving the safety and reliability of the steam system which is important to their processes. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, ASHRAE and a Fellow of Engineers Canada.
