F.) Lumens (holes)
Inspection:
- Look through lumen to check for debris.
- Water flushed through lumen runs clear after cleaning.
Cleaning technique:
- Brush, stylette or pipe cleaner passed through shaft and out end x 3 minimum.
- Brush-end must be wiped before pulling back through lumen – avoids re-depositing debris in lumen
