Jessica McLean

Jessica McLean is a dedicated healthcare professional with more than 20 years of experience in Medical Device Reprocessing. She began her career in Nursing and discovered her passion for MDR during a summer position in SPD—an experience that sparked a lifelong commitment to reprocessing excellence.

Jessica has held multiple roles within MDR throughout her career and has spent the past 12 years serving as Supervisor at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario. She is deeply committed to advancing reprocessing safety, aligning practices with CSA standards, and elevating the MDR profession within mainstream healthcare conversations. Colleagues know her for her enthusiasm—especially her love of talking about all things MDR.

Jessica has also collaborated with local news media to highlight the critical, behind-the-scenes role that MDR professionals play in patient safety and high-quality care.
