Crystal Lockyer

Education Director

Crystal Lockyer earned her Bachelor of Nursing in 2005 and spent 15 years working in Critical Care before transitioning into Medical Device Reprocessing leadership at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s. She completed the Sterile Supply Technician program through Purdue University to further strengthen her expertise in MDR operations.

Crystal has been an active member of CAMDR for several years, serving five years as Provincial Advisor for Newfoundland and Labrador before joining the Executive Board as Education Director in June 2025. She is currently completing a Master’s in Employment Relations at Memorial University and applies this growing expertise in her role as Quality Manager for NL Health Services – Eastern Zone. In this position, she works to optimize workflows, enhance compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across MDR operations.
